Refractories for Iron-Making Industry/Silicon Carbide (SiC) Bricks
SiC Bricks are produced using high quality silicon carbide and industial silicon powder as starting materials,
firing at high temperature by nitridation reaction. Characterized by good thermal shock resistance, good alkali
corrosion resistance, good slag resistance, high strength and high thermal conductivity, the bricks are mainly
used in severe parts of iron-making blast furnace, such as the lower part of stack, belly, bosh and tuyere.
